Sidekicker Performance Policy
Updated over a year ago

As a Sidekick, you are part of a community of professional, experienced and reliable individuals. Being part of this community means that you are held to high standards of service.

Sidekick performance is comprised of four elements:

Failure to follow these policies will result in disciplinary proceedings of your account, and may mean you are no longer be able to access shifts via the Sidekicker platform.

Reliability

At Sidekicker, your Reliability Score is measured by how frequently you withdraw or no show to shifts. Your score will take into account your most recent 15 shifts on the platform. Each time you withdraw or no show, your score will drop to reflect this.

When you withdraw from a shift that you've already committed to working, it causes issues for our clients, prevents other Sidekicks from being hired to the shift, and additionally may impact your ability to get hired by businesses. 😒

  • βœ… Only apply for shifts you know can work!

  • πŸ”” If you can no longer work a shift you applied for, withdraw from the shift ASAP through the app at least 48h before the shift start time.

  • ❌ Every withdrawal will deduct your reliability score. Withdrawing from too many shifts over a short period of time may lead to a warning and limited your visibility on certain shifts on the platform. Continuing to show unreliable behaviour may gradually lead to no visibility on any shifts.

  • ❌❌ If you fail to show up to your shift without withdrawing from it with adequate notice, this will be considered a "no show". No show will result in a major withdrawal score deduction, and your account being put under review.

Professionalism

As a Sidekick, you are part of a community of high quality workers that demonstrate professionalism in all they do. Sidekicker defines professionalism as:

1. Being punctual

2. Possessing the right skills for the job

3. Having a good attitude

4. Taking pride in your presentation

Sidekicker will occasionally receive feedback about a Sidekick's performance directly from a client or from a Sidekicker internal staff member. Feedback specifics are kept confidential between Sidekicker and the reporter, however we will take efforts to validate feedback before any disciplinary action is taken.

If negative feedback is received, a performance warning will be issued to the Sidekick. If the same negative feedback is consistently received despite warnings, you will lose access to your Sidekicker account.Β

Platform Compliance

The Sidekicker platform provides all job-related information such as contact details, job descriptions, job time/date and job locations.
