How to obtain and upload proof of your COVID-19 vaccination (AU)

Some roles at Sidekicker still may require us to verify your COVID-19 vaccination status.

Accepted documentation to verify your COVID-19 vaccination

Australian certificates:

  • COVID-19 Digital Certificate

  • Immunisation History Statement with COVID-19 vaccinations listed

  • Australian-issued International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate

If you're eligible for Medicare, you can access these documents via:

International certificates:

  • A vaccination certificate issued by the government, proving you've received a recognised vaccine in Australia

I'm unable to access the documents / don't have Medicare

If you are unable to access proof of your COVID-19 vaccination online, your vaccination provider can print your immunisation history statement for you.

If you’re not eligible for Medicare, you can still get proof using the Individual Healthcare Identifiers service (IHI service) through myGov.

Alternatively, if you have vaccination documentation from overseas, you will need to register this with the Australian Immunisation Register, which will generate an Australian document for you.


How do I upload proof of my COVID-19 vaccination to my profile?

Make sure you have a PDF or image file showing the full certificate from any of the above ways of verifying your vaccination. Uploading your certificate is easy!

  1. Log into Sidekicker and navigate to ‘Certificates’

  2. Click on the certificate that reflects the highest amount of doses you've received:

    1. If you’ve received only one dose: COVID-19 partial vaccination record - Dose 1

    2. If you’ve received only two doses: COVID-19 full vaccination record - Dose 2

    3. If you’ve received 3+ doses: COVID-19 full vaccination record & booster

  3. Upload your document as a PDF or image showing us full details of the certificate

Please note your document will be uploaded as 'Pending' whilst our support team goes through to verify your document and approve it.

I'm having trouble uploading my certificate

If you're having trouble uploading your certificate onto your profile, you can alternatively request our help by reaching out via the blue chat bubble on Sidekicker. On the chat, choose the option "I need to make an update to my profile/account" and "Upload a certificate".

By sending us the certificate via the chat, our Support Team can upload it on your behalf.
