Uploading certificates on Sidekicker is quick and easy! We require these to ensure you have the correct qualifications and working rights.
To upload a certificate, follow these steps:
Go to the 'Certificates' section of your profile
Find the certificate you're looking for and click it
Read the instructions text, and either upload your documentation or complete the actions as otherwise instructed.
After uploading/completing the certificate, it will be reviewed and approved by our team — this usually happens within 24 hours. If your certificate cannot be accepted, you will receive an email from Sidekicker notifying you why this is.
My certificate was rejected!
In the following instances, we may need to reject your certicicate:
The incorrect document was uploaded
The document was not valid (e.g. had already expired)
The document is blurry or unreadable by our team
The document does not have all the required information (eg. date, stamps or personal details)
To upload a new certificate, simply delete or replace the original document and upload a new one in its place. You follow these same steps to replace an expired certificate on your profile.
I've received a reminder about my certificates
This means you might have a certificate that will expire soon or may have already expired. To ensure you can continue seeing jobs without interruptions, it's important to update this as soon as possible.
Simply click on the reminder which will direct you to your certificates page and update the certificate following the steps below:
Click on the certificate that has been flagged as 'Expiring soon', or 'Expired'
Click 'Replace' and select to 'Proceed
Upload a new certificate, and click 'Save'
Your new certificate will need to be reviewed and approved by the Sidekicker team before it's updated on your profile. Until then, you can still access jobs if your old certificate is still valid.
