At Sidekicker, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment for everyone. We have zero tolerance for sexual, sex-based or gender-based harassment across any workplace, shift, placement or interaction connected to our business.

How We Identify and Manage Risk

Because our workforce operates across a wide range of industries and workplaces, we recognise that different environments may present different risks.

We regularly assess workplace risks through:

  • Worker feedback and surveys

  • Incident reporting and reviews

  • Client workplace assessments

  • Consultation with workers and workplace representatives

  • Ongoing monitoring of workplace trends and concerns

We pay particular attention to risks that can arise in:

  • Fast-paced or high-pressure environments

  • Isolated or late-night work

  • Workplaces with limited supervision

  • Temporary or unfamiliar worksites

  • Situations involving power imbalances

Prevention Measures

To help prevent harassment and inappropriate behaviour, Sidekicker has implemented a range of controls and safeguards, including:

  • Zero-tolerance approach to harassment

  • Behaviour expectations outlined in codes of conduct

  • Reporting and support pathways for workers

  • Workplace risk reviews for higher-risk environments

  • Incident escalation and investigation processes

  • Leadership and manager training

  • Worker education and awareness initiatives

  • Access to confidential wellbeing support services

We are also continuing to strengthen our induction training programs to ensure workers understand:

  • Acceptable workplace behaviour

  • How to report concerns

  • Available support services

  • Their rights and responsibilities

Reporting Concerns

Workers can raise concerns through multiple channels, including:

  • Managers or supervisors

  • Customer Support

  • Safety reporting systems

  • Whistleblower Channel (anonymous)

All reports are handled as confidentially as possible and are assessed fairly and respectfully.

Where appropriate, workers may also choose to contact external organisations such as:

  • Fair Work Commission

  • Australian Human Rights Commission

  • Safe Work Australia or the relevant state/territory work health and safety regulator

  • Police in the relevant state or territory (where criminal conduct is alleged)

Support Available

Support is available to workers who experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, including:

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • People & Culture support

  • Workplace safety support

  • External counselling and support services, including 1800RESPECT

Continuous Improvement

Preventing harassment requires ongoing action and engagement. We regularly review:

  • Worker feedback

  • Incident trends

  • Reporting processes

  • Workplace risks

  • Training and communication materials

This helps ensure our prevention measures remain effective, practical and responsive to the needs of our workforce.
