What you should wear to your Sidekicker shift and how you should be presented will depend on the role and tasks you are performing, as well as what is stated in the job description. As a Sidekick, it is your responsibility to ensure you are wearing the appropriate outfit for all shifts.
As a rule of thumb, the job description should always be treated as the source of truth. However, if a job does not state any uniform/presentation requirements, it is expected your uniform and presentation will meet the industry standards outlined below.
Industry standards
General Presentation - All Roles
Long hair tied into a bun
Maintained facial hair (either a trimmed beard or clean-shaven)
Visible tattoos to be covered
No jewellery
No nail polish
Clean and trimmed nails
Minimal makeup (no bright lipstick or eye makeup)
Hospitality - Front of House
The job description will specify if a black or white shirt is required for a particular shift. If by chance there is no mention of uniform requirements on the job, please wear a white business shirt.
Uniform details:
White/black shirt - ironed, long-sleeved collared business shirt (no see-through or silk fabric, no oversized shirts). Black trousers- full-length, loose, dress trousers (no jeans or leggings and should cover ankles)
Black, plain leather shoes - (no ballet flats, sneakers, boots or shoes having coloured stripes or white soles)

A plain black T-shirt

Once you have filled out the form and completed your 3rd shift in Healthcare, Sidekicker will send you your polo and name badge via post.
While you are waiting for these items to arrive, you can continue working on shifts. Be sure to bring photo ID and wear plain black clothing as mentioned above.
Important: Uniform requirements can differ across jobs for these industries, so be sure to check the job description in case a different uniform is required for your shift. Where a job does not specify uniform requirements, it is expected you will attend in the appropriate uniform as outlined above.
All other roles and industries
