How to duplicate or repost a request
Updated over 4 months ago

Sidekicker offers you an easy way to either post a similar request and leave it open for Sidekicks to apply through, or to duplicate your request assigning the same Sidekicks into the new request.

This will save you valuable time when posting your requests onto the platform.

If you're looking to duplicate more than 1 request at once, read our article here.

How to duplicate your request and roll in Sidekicks

You may want to duplicate your request when you wish to bring back Sidekicks who have previously worked with you, or when your business has a regular recurring roster.

Sidekicker allows you to easily duplicate your request whilst assigning the same Sidekicks into it with a few clicks. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to ‘Requests’ on the left navigation bar, and find the request you wish to duplicate

  2. Click the 3 dots for more options, and select ‘Duplicate’

  3. Add the new date, and time, and either keep or change the previous Talent Pool and Sidekicks

  4. Click ‘Duplicate’ to post your new request

Please note you can only duplicate requests in ‘Filled’, ‘Awaiting timesheets’, ‘Review and complete’ or ‘Completed’ status. If you wish to duplicate an ‘Open’ job, follow the steps below on how to post similar requests without adding Sidekicks.

How to post similar requests without Sidekicks

If you do not wish to assign any Sidekicks onto your new request, please follow the steps below to use our ‘Post similar’ feature:

  1. Go to 'Requests' on the left navigation bar

  2. Find the request you wish to post again, click the three dots for more options and select 'Post similar'

  3. Add a new shift date and time, and edit any other details if you need to. The rate from your previous request will be automatically copied across, but can be changed before you post your new request.
