Set-shifts:

You can apply for as many jobs as you are available for. If your application on a job is successful, and the job moves to the 'Active' section in your app, the system will automatically withdraw your pending applications from any other shifts that clash with the successful one.


Fixed-term / ongoing jobs: 

As fixed-term jobs may run over multiple days, and do not specify the exact hours you will work, the system is unable to distinguish any job clashes. In this instance, you will not be automatically withdrawn from any shifts that clash with a fixed-term shift. This is to ensure that you are able to work as many shifts as you want on the platform. For example, if your fixed-term job is Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, we would not want you to miss out on other evening shifts you might want to work. 

In this case, it is your responsibility to ensure that you withdraw your applications for any shifts that could clash with your fixed-term job.

Important to note:

Occasionally a shift may be updated which results in you being allocated to clashing jobs. This may occur if a business has perhaps assigned you specifically to a job, or has updated the date and time of a shift which now clashes with your fixed-term job. If you notice that you have been assigned to shifts that clash, please reach out to us via the blue chat bubble on Sidekicker as soon as possible so we can fix this up for you!
