How to create and use Talent Pools

Talent Pools make it easy for you to rehire your favourite Sidekicks. Group your favourite Sidekicks into talent pools and make requests directly to them, making it effortless to rehire the same Sidekicks over and over again.

Tip: You can set up talent pools based on your business operations, and how you're using Sidekicker. Some examples include:

  • Role & location (e.g. Sydney - Pick Packers, Melbourne - Event Assistants)

  • Site (e.g. Front of House, Back of House)

  • Role (e.g. Registered Nurse, Admin Assistants)

Creating a Talent Pool

  1. Select ‘Talent Pools’ on the left navigation bar

  2. Click ‘Create Talent Pool’

  3. Add name, description and which sites can utilise the Talent Pool. Additionally you can add Sidekicks into your Talent Pool. Once you’re ready, click ‘Create’.

Talent Pools can be edited at any time by clicking ‘Edit Talent Pool’, or deleted by clicking the X button.

Adding Sidekicks into a Talent Pool

To add Sidekicks onto your Talent Pool at a later stage, click on the Talent Pool and select ‘Add Sidekicks’.

You will see a dropdown list of all Sidekicks who have previously worked with you, and can add them into the Talent Pool.

Posting a request to your Talent Pool

Next time when you're making a request, select your preferred Talent Pool in the 'Who can apply' section. Any Sidekick added to that Talent Pool is notified of your request and can apply.
